WHAT'S ON AT THE WORLDS
The Grade 1 qualifiers will be held on Friday 16th August. Gates open at 8am with the qualifiers taking place from 10.30am – 5pm. Food and drink stalls will be on hand to keep you refreshed throughout the day as well as a selection of stalls to wander round.
Day two includes the Championship finals and all the other Grade competitions including the Drum Major competitions. There will also be Highland Dancing, Highland Games, the Scottish Food Village, Traders Village and the Kids Zone.
Gates opening at 7am with the competition starting at 9am. The event will draw to a close with a spectacular march-past of all pipe bands in the main arena due to start around 5.30pm for the presentations from the day’s competition.
Concession prices are available for full-time students; Senior Citizens; Jobseekers Allowance, and Disability Living Allowance, Personal Independence Payment and Employment & Support Allowance recipients. Proof of entitlement must be shown when collecting tickets.
GENERAL ADMISSION FRIDAY
Access to Glasgow Green for the Grade 1 Qualifiers including the Grade 1 arena seating which is available on a first come first served basis.
GENERAL ADMISSION SATURDAY
Access to Glasgow Green, including the Glasgow World Highland Games, the Highland Dancing competition and the Kid’s Zone. Please note these tickets will not give you access to Grade 1 Seating, which is reserved for Grade 1 ticket holders only.
GENERAL ADMISSION WEEKEND
Access to Glasgow Green on Friday and Saturday to make sure you don’t miss any of the weekend’s action! Please note these tickets will give you access to Grade 1 Seating on the Friday on a first come first served basis. These tickets will not give you access to Grade 1 Seating on the Saturday as it is reserved for Grade 1 ticket holders only.
Available for Saturday 17th August only. A Grade 1 ticket allows you entry to Glasgow Green all day and the ability to choose and reserve a seat in the Grade 1 Arena throughout the day.
