The World Pipe Band Championships take place on Glasgow Green, a park situated in the east end of Glasgow on the north bank of the River Clyde. It is the oldest park in the city dating back to the 15th century. The park is a short walk from the city centre and the public are advised to make use of the excellent public transport links into the city or utilise the city centre parking facilities.

As car parking is strictly limited, the public are advised to make use of the excellent public transport links into the city or utilise the city centre parking facilities.

ACCESSIBLE PARKING
There is limited Accessible Parking available on the East Carriageway for Blue Badge holders only. This can be accessed from Arcadia Street. Accessible parking will be filled on a first come basis.

TRAIN
Glasgow Green is approximately a fifteen minute walk from Argyle Street, Bellgrove and High Street train stations.

SUBWAY
Glasgow Green is approximately a fifteen minute walk from St Enoch subway station

BUS
First Bus services 16, 18, 40, 61, 62 and 263 all stop near Glasgow Green.

BIKE
There are no restrictions on bicycles at this event. When the park is busy, stewards will ask cyclists to dismount on entry to the park.
