Another Fantastic Year for The Worlds!
The biggest and best event in piping is over for another year! Thank you to
everyone who joined us on Glasgow Green for the pinnacle in piping - the
World Pipe Band Championships 2009! The initial downpour certainly didn’t
dampen the high spirits of the crowd or the bands in what turned out to be a
fantastic day.

Congratulations to Grade 1 winners Simon Fraser University of Vancouver, Canada! They put in a stellar performance, sealing their victory and becoming world champions for the second year running.
