The World Pipe Band Championships on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th August 2016.
Friday’s competition consists of the Grade 1 qualifiers.Saturday’s competition programme will include the championship finals and all other Grade competitions, as well as the Drum Major competition.Tickets can be purchased online by using the links below, by phone on 0141 353 8000 and in person Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

Children aged 5 and under go FREE. Children's tickets are available for ages 6-15 years old.
The following concessions apply to general admission tickets only: Carers accompanying ticket holders go free (also applicable to Grade 1); aged 60 or over; full time student; benefit recipients; National Entitlement Card (for disabled people) and disabled persons railcard. Guest Hospitality will be available on Friday 12 and Saturday 13. These special packages give the holder access to the exclusive guest marquee and guest parking, as well as catering the best possible view of the competitive action on Saturday. Friday’s programme consists of the Grade 1 Pipe Band Championships Qualifiers.Saturday's competition programme will include the Championship finals and all other Grades’ competitions, as well as the Drum Major competition.Saturday’s programme also includes attractions such as The Highland Dancing competition and the Highland Games, free family activities a traders’ area and a Scottish Food Village. There is no additional programming around Friday’s competition, but spectators will be able to purchase food and drink onsite.
Tickets are available for Friday 12 and/or Saturday 13 August, and there are is also a two-day ticket available. On Friday, your general admission ticket will give you access to the Grade 1 Qualifiers including the Grade 1 arena seating.On Saturday, general admission tickets give you access to the whole of Glasgow Green, including the Glasgow World Highland Games, the Highland Dancing competition and the children’s area. They will not give you access to Grade 1 Seating, which is reserved for Grade 1 ticket holders only. There are concessionary general admission prices available, plus family tickets and children’s tickets.
Grade 1 tickets are available for Saturday 13 August only, as seating is unreserved on Friday. A Grade 1 ticket allows you to choose and reserve a seat in the Grade 1 Arena throughout the day.
