This year the World Solo Drumming Championships sponsored by Andante Drums will take place on Saturday 22nd October 2011 at Glasgow Caledonian University.
Just weeks after the World Pipe Band Championships, the very best drummers from top bands from around the world are back in Glasgow to compete for honours.
The event features the very best Pipe Band drummers in the world, competing in March, Strathspey and Reel and Hornpipe and Jig competitions. The drummer with the highest aggregate score over the two competitions will win the championship.
